Dr. Ronny Jänig is the administrative partner of the Berlin office. He is a Certified Commercial and Corporate Law Specialist and co-heads the corporate and commercial practice group at ROSE & PARTNER together with Dr. Boris Jan Schiemzik from the Hamburg office.
An experienced corporate lawyer, Ronny represents managing directors, chief executive officers (CEO), supervisory board members and shareholders of private and public companies on all corporate law matters. His experience includes all aspects of corporate planning and housekeeping as well as structuring, drafting and negotiating mergers and acquisitions, strategic joint ventures and alliances on a national and international level.
His key competencies include setting up tax optimized corporate structures, the enforcement and defense of liability claims (including D&O issues), and, in particular, the representation in disputes among and with shareholders both in and out of court.
Additional Background
After studying law in Goettingen, Ronny completed his doctoral studies under Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. Ulrich Immenga on German stock company law which led him to research sojourns in France, England, and Switzerland. His doctoral thesis won several awards and was sponsored by the Working Group for Business and Law in the Endowment Association for German Research and Deutsche Bank AG.
After his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt/Main, Ronny joined Noerr LLP., a leading international commercial law firm, where he advised domestic and foreign clients on corporate law matters. He then worked as a researcher at the University of Goettingen and, during this time, obtained his Master of Laws in Durham, England. Due to his work as a lecturer and his numerous publications on corporate law, in particular on German stock company law, Ronny has an excellent reputation in research and in practice.
