- Excellent advise Christian has advised me with regard to taking a position as managing director in Germany and has delivered excellent advise on the managing director’s contract I eventually signed. One of his obvious strength is that he thinks out of the box and can cover all relevant areas. The final outcome of the contract was well balanced and I can highly recommend Christian as a seasoned and experienced lawyer that takes a broader view.
Background
Christian studied law at the University of Hamburg. After passing the first state law examination he went to South Africa and obtained a master’s degree from the University of Cape Town.
Following his articles, Christian started his professional career working for WBS (now Watson Farley Williams), a boutique law firm specialized in M&A/corporate law. Having worked for several years in the field of M&A/corporate law, Christian then joined Germanischer Lloyd (GL), where he became a member of the dedicated M&A department. Christian helped execute GL’s strategic growth ambition through a number of international deals, primarily in Asia and North America. He also facilitated the divestment of several strategically non-core assets.
Christian joined ROSE & PARTNER in 2019.
