Ms Britta Niakan is a lawyer specializing in tax law. She advises medium-sized clients, freelancers and wealthy private individuals in the field of tax law. A focus of her work is asset and business succession. In advising on and structuring gifts, anticipated succession and the settlement of estates, she not only applies her concentrated knowledge of tax law. She also uses her empathetic talent towards clients, authorities and other third parties.
Britta’s core competence is the preparation of inheritance and gift tax returns as well as the associated business, share and property valuations.
In addition to preparing short expert opinions on individual tax issues, her repertoire includes representing clients in tax disputes before the fiscal authorities and the tax court.
Career
Britta had already devoted herself to tax law before her practical work as a lawyer. Her tax law career began with training as a tax assistant in a tax and law firm in Hamburg. After studying law at the Universities of Hamburg and Heidelberg, she graduated as one of the best of her year from the supplementary course "Tax Sciences" in Osnabrück and obtained the title LL.M. Taxation. As a research assistant at the Institute for Finance and Tax Law at the University of Osnabrück, she was able to further deepen her tax knowledge.
Britta Niakan gained further practical experience in the field of tax law during her traineeship at the tax office in Bad Oldesloe.
Since she was admitted to the bar in May 2005, Britta Niakan has worked full-time for an auditing, tax consulting and law firm in Hamburg.
Since March 2012 Britta has been "Specialist Lawyer for Tax Law".
Britta joined ROSE & PARTNER in September 2019.
